Switchboard Operator / Receptionist

 

Open Afternoon for this vacancy only. Please note that this is BY INVITATION and on submission of CV/Application form – Friday 12th September 2008 @ 2pm. This will involve assessments, group activities and possible role play (not in front of group) Refreshments will be provided.

 

We have an opportunity for a Switchboard Operator / receptionist to join our team here at Bridgend Ford.

 

RESPONISBILTIIES

 

Duties will include; telephone and face to face enquiries,  liaising with colleagues and customers, email, accurate message taking and all duties associated with that of a Switchboard Operator/ receptionist.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The successful candidate will ideally have demonstrable administrative and customer service experience as the role is customer facing.

Candidates must also have experience of working with computers and have good keyboard skills although qualifications are not necessary. Call centre experience may also prove to be advantageous.

 

DAYS AND HOURS

 

Days are yet to be confirmed but it would involve a minimum of 16 hours per week up to a potential 30 hours a week.

 

This position would probably suit an individual desiring the security of scheduled hours each week but who would appreciate extra money on occasion as there will be call for additional hours to cover absence and holidays.

 

SALARY

 

To be confirmed; Salary will meet national minimum hourly wage.

 

OTHER

 

Uniform will be provided after qualifying period.

PARTS ADVISOR

 

We currently have a vacancy for a parts advisor in our busy parts department and are seeking a candidate with previous experience of working as a parts advisor in the motor trade.

RESPONISBILTIIES

Responsibilities are consummate with that of a parts advisor role.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a parts department within the motor trade and will have an excellent demonstrable understanding of the role.

 

DAYS AND HOURS

Hours of work are; Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8.30am to 1pm.

 

SALARY

To be confirmed; will meet national minimum wage and may be eligible for departmental bonus.

 

OTHER

Uniform will be provided after qualifying period.

CUSTOMER FACING ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST

 

We have an excellent opportunity for a customer facing administrator / receptionist to join our team here at Bridgend Ford.

 

RESPONISBILTIIES

 

The successful candidates will ideally have demonstrable administrative and customer service experience as the role is customer facing.

Duties will include; telephone and face to face enquiries, bookings, liaising with colleagues and customers, faxing, email, accurate message taking, relaying information to customers from technicians and all duties associated with that of a customer facing administrator / receptionist.

SELECTION CRITERIA

 

Candidates must have experience of working with computers and demonstrate their confidence with all Microsoft packages particularly excel and word although qualifications are not necessary. The confidence to learn how to use new software would be advantageous.

 

DAYS AND HOURS

 

Full time; Monday to Friday hours up to and between 8am and 6pm (average 45 hours per week) and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings up to 1pm (average 17 per annum) Please note that you will be expected to comply with reasonable requests for over time particularly during plate change seasons.

 

SALARY

 

To be confirmed; Salary will meet national minimum hourly wage.

Parts Sales Representative

 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Sales Representative to join our friendly team.

 

RESPONISBILTIIES

All duties as associated with that of a parts sales representative.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

It is essential that applicants have a sound knowledge of the local independent motor trade and a full UK driver’s licence. Previous experience is desirable although ongoing training and support will be provided.

 

DAYS AND HOURS

Full time: Hours up to and between 8am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday; due to the nature of the business, a degree of flexibility around working hours is essential, particularly as Saturday mornings are included on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 3)

 

SALARY

£15,000 basic per annum plus bonus (OTE £21,000)

RESPONISBILTIIES

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced qualified panel beater to join our team here at Bridgend Ford Accident Repair Centre.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

An experienced panel beating role, you will be enthusiastic, hard working and a team player.

 

Full NVQ or equivalent relevant qualification in the field is essential.

 

DAYS AND HOURS

Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm

 

Please note that you will be expected to comply with a reasonable request to do over time which may include weekends.

 

PLACE OF WORK

Horsefair Road, Waterton Industrial Estate.
